DX11, other updates, and best settings.

So, in WvW, my computer lags a lot, especially when there are numerous players on screen.

Even reducing the player display and quality to the lowest. 

 

Does DX11 improve this without problems? 

 

What are the best settings in order for it to run smoother?

Does it improve it? - Yes, significantly.

Without issues? - No. See the numerous reports in the two DX11 Beta bug threads.

Use the DX12pxy in the meantime if you want to achieve better performance without much drawbacks. DX11 natively is going to be better but it's not free of issues while the polish of pxy has reached pretty good levels.

I have DX12, just not sure how to make it work with the game.

Not sure if I have pxy.

You can download the latest version here with instructions to install it included, you'll know it's working upon game start because a window will pop up and tell you so.

 

One thing I recommend is to be fullscreen windowed before installing it because it gave me issues when I was fullscreen normal.
