No options should ever be removed from WvW, this isn't sPvP and its not a 5v5 fight. If anything we need more options in WvW and not less. You can't predict 50v50v50 and there are no options for balancing. No removing builds from WvW is a mistake since different people will play in different size fights.

Wat? 2020 february patch was meant to be a start of similar balance between sPvP and WvW (thats why most changes were same for both modes). But after that, none, read again, n o n e of the upcoming patches was balancing those modes same way. Ill go even further, sPvP despite being in a sh*t hole of balance got way more crucial updates than WvW (which means its even bigger sh*t hole of balance). So no, they dont need to stop balancing WvW like its sPvP because they already did. And thanks to that you have many builds, mostly roaming, that are straight up kitten and already non-existent in sPvP but in WvW theyre perfectly fine.

So be my guest with 'WvW balancing team' (which doesnt exist), but also please dont cry next time you meet oneshot nades engi, condi oblivion tank or unkillable teef build.

PS: Speaking of traits/skills numbers, not access to different stats equipment

No removal, despite how much of  dumb stat setups exist is, it shouldn't be removed, along with celestial staying the way it is. Give back most(not all) gd power damage back, and give back CC damage but make it uncrittable. Spvp balance doesn't belong in WvW, with how much they doctored/sanitized the game mode to be super barebones and with only glassy stats with even less stat points it translates horribly to WvW.

The biggest dumb blanket changes still stuck ever since that patch, from tons of blanket nerfs and CC damage being removed, along with 300s ICD traits, those are really the biggest parts of that patch to WvW that don't belong. Spvp changes need to stay separate if they're going to keep removing every bit of anything that Spvp keeps whining about to get nerf hammered or straight up removed.

That's because of layoffs and COVID reducing the team to just CMC and he was just putting out sPvP fires. Trust me, if he had more time he'd have done the same to WvW.

PvP balance has no place in WvW. The builds, goals, and gear are all different and should be balanced around those, not what some idiots in the fabled PvP discord come up with during their circle jerks.
