(Skiffs, fishing, siege turtle...) You may want a boosted character to unlock something quickly for your account, just as with the mount, and the boosts are expensive if you need an 80 in a hurry. You can get Springer, Skimmer and Jackal all without doing any story from Path of Fire, just by exploring open world maps and doing events in the deesrt.' You can also gear it up and try WvW.
