WVW alliance is dead before out of beta due to ultra stacking alliance guild.

Arenanet must be so tired of this community. Years of crying about every little addition they make to WvW. People have been asking for Alliances for years and now that the system is on its way people

The main reason alliance is created to balanced the wvw numbers, but people already found a simple way to stack the wvw player in one huge guild, it will be more deadly than current server based WVW.

You obviously didnt understand the system. Worlds are created by the matchnaker based on wvw participation. If one large guild/alliance stacks many many active players, they will in turn get

If one large guild/alliance stacks many many active players, they will in turn get very few allies. Not too mention that there will be limits on how many active players can be in one Alliance (as their selected WvW alliance).

In turn other worlds may consist of smaller alliances, but way more of them, hence balancing things out.

Yes. Stacked giant guilds. Turned the server into a private server. This giant guild will crush everything when it shows up!! After leaving WvW. WvW is empty! (Defending the castle now makes no sense)

To be fair guilds ruined wvw allready. Before it was guild vs pug blob. Nowadays it 3 guilds + pugs vs pugs.

Of course they focus on PvE when WvW community is a kitten show.

And obviously you are out of the loop of wvw news, there are wvw big guilds all joined in a massive new guild, that created to let other servers and guilds to join it, and they select that massive wvw guild for alliance. All members in that guild is for wvw alliance. A full guild is 500 as limit.

This exploit alone already broke the core premises of wvw alliance to fix the number balance, if not now and more in the future. 
imagine a clever stack organizer, invite 125 wvwer each for all the timezones NA OCX SEA EU, it will be more broken than current BG.

There are no alliances yet (not that i think those will fix all imbalances, but still, it is too early to tell)

Alliances will have a limit (likely the same as guild limit - 500 players). So if players create a "mega" guild with the intend to allow others to join an alliance with said guild - it won't be possible. Right now there are less limitations to stacking, so it is unlikely to become worse.

@Busty Bombsalot.4570instead of salting around u could check the beta thread postings. we had not a lot issue with wrongly assigned players, sth like 6/208 , of which some probs just didn't tick the wvw panel box correctly 😛

 

content been pretty good sofar

 

its a beta test, the real alliances will probably have not that big guildamounts.

playerbase also atm figuring out what type of players we need more. and the various guilds still figuring out who they may play with in the future.

These big guild aren't on my alliance.

We have hardly any guilds and no one is playing, theres somthing seriously wrong with this.

It's waaaaaaaaaaaay  quiter than a normal weekend.

I hope they're getting usfull data from the beta as its currently ruining the game.

Pfff i told it already since they announced this system years ago that it won't change jackshlt. I told you all the time it will be down to premade alliances steamrolling over whatever trash is left. Ohw and here another prediction:
Soon enough you guys will moan that you're facing the same enemies over and over :P

Because then it will be down to either trashbag farming or facing the same alliances again and again.
At least i can oil myself in your tears now and laugh about this premade fiesta.

You guys were celebrating it as if it was THE SOLUTION. As if it was the Jesus of gamesystems. Now look there.

Another overhyped fail like all the other stuff (Cyberpunk 2077 hype woop woop).

Not thought through, badly implemented and gave players enough time to exploit it already before it was active.

And again i say it would have been far better for population balance if NA and EU server were merged due to different timezones equalizing overall server coverage a bit.

The dichotomy list I wrote a while back would probably grow larger for each thread on the forum if I would bother to update it.

Now this game of guild driven fights that the community completely raked Anet over daring to interrupt will be destroyed by guilds.

The system is perfect.

Anet should lauch it official soon,, just minor bugs like old server names appearing on capture event.

Theres big guilds? yes, but theres on another servers too, soo its big-guilds vs big-guilds.

Even better: join them, im in the "Vip";.

Yall dumb. Alliances was never going to balance your trash group of randoms vs a group of organized players. Numbers were balanced, all sides had a queue on our map. Nothing Anet can do about your 70 people being garbage and not playing together.
