Lets start a WvW Idea Topic. Maybe Anet will read it.

the idea is not new, we had kinda discussion several times. variable buffs at outnumbered, maybe improving by difference of player amount %.

 

just, it is absurd to buff SIEGE with it. like why on earth would u do that? it has to buff player stats so they can defend, not the siege weapons.

 

literally all other points are "answered" by the basic plan for alliances.

 

the #2 also is mentioned in a lot of posts. yeah anet really should give us more/new/useful/better rewards for the big amounts of playtime we spend in Wvw. so it's kinda adequate for the spent time at least.

u mix a lot of stuff in there now. the Wvw meta is obvously not changing, how would it? i mean we changed a few builds adapting to the retal removing and due to the lower dmg in feb20, but otherwise, no real room for anything.

 

to have optional builds, there would be buffs of a ton of weapon skills and abilities necessary. u saw how a weapon skill buff can work @ dragonhunter longbow. i don't think any other weapon got the same treatment tho (engi rifle got better ok, that matters not for cleanse/heal scrapper tho)

 

My Explain to Siege Buff:

Siege Buff bcs if u got few Player they couldnt do anything. If a Player got more HP or something else doesnt help bcs the Big and organized Zerg will catch u again and again they dont care about you got more Stats or not. With a Siege Buff u could stay with your few Players inside of Buildings and can try to hold bcs if 10 Players got better stats or not, doesnt make a difference. But with a Siege Buff u could hold things better and u could attack and break enemy Towers/Keeps faster. So you can try to split the Enemy Big Zerg bcs if you as Small Group deffend and another small Group attack in this Moment the Enemy Towers and Keeps you could change the Situation. And the Big Zergs need to move bcs after a Siege Buff small Groups could break doors/walls faster and the Lord dont scaled high bcs its a small Group so the Enemy Zerg need to care about their Maps too and cant overran everything.

Sorry my bad I dont mean the WvW Meta, i mean the Stats maybe to reduce the Healstats. And like DanAlcedo.3281, wrote it 5 Classes and same builds is really boring, i am on the same opinion.

This is the current WvW pickup meta: https://gw2mists.com/builds

It contains 8 builds listed as meta and another 3 builds listed as good.

It comprises every class but Ranger and Thief.

That is looking at the meta alone and overlooking your earlier comment about the vanilla melee/range/focus meta. The truth is that you can still play as a focus party. People are just not doing it because they have joined the mode as solo players and are only looking to get in on public content. If you can play as a focus party you can play Ranger and Thief in large-scale WvW too. A focus/havoc party always involved leading yourself.

So while Dan tries to claim that Warrior and Elementalist have it really bad, they actually have two builds each listed as perfectly viable in the current meta, among a total of 11.

It's free for you to point fingers all you like, but it is also free for us to point out that you are consistantly wrong about it. Your opinion is not the same as my fact. It's fine if you're annoyed about the truth shutting down your beliefs, but if players ruined anything, it's players who just cry and falsify or make excuses when you can be happy and play 🙂 .

Nice Meta: 3 Guard Builds and every other class just 1 without Ele,Ranger and Thiefs. And nobody talked about your points the real fact is that the Meta never changed. 4 Years gone and we play the same things. And if a Zerg can stay inside of Sieges without moving Anet did something wrong here with the Balance thats my Opinion. If Sieges arent important we can remove it from Game and lets remove Keeps, Towers and Camps too bcs this Game changed to a if you got a Big good Zerg u can do all and if not just watch the situation like a movie how they are flipping everything of you.  Its not the Player Balance its the Game Balance which is broke atm.

 

I saw a lot commander on Twitch they get a strong Zerg and flipping all easy. The Enemy Commanders close the Lead after 3 Fights bcs they have tried to deffend and everything is useless. And the Commander of the strong Zerg started to attack the Main Keep (T3) and was wondering why nobody deffend the Keep bcs nobody could deffend they have tried 3 times and it was useless and they dont wanna give them free Bags.  The Leader of the strong Zerg was really angry bcs he started to lead and without Enemys he stopped to lead too after 1 hour. Nice Gameplay.

 

Before some Years People had Chances to do something. Today if there is a strong Zerg which u can stop bcs the Heal and Support is to strong and the Sieges doesnt help, Commanders stop to lead or give a sh** about Keeps and Towers and change the Map and this is really sad. Thats not WvW.
