Ken Yuudachi.9807
Hey, I have a serious problem of sPvP. People in the team were disconnected very often in my team. It almost happens once in 5 games. When the game started and we won a bit, my teammates were disconnected. ( Some of them came back to the game, which means it is not their will. ) Are they drophacks or something? Because the chance of disconnection is simply unreasonable. I was disconnected just now in the same situation. I have never been disconnected in unranked in the past few years. It's just... too ridiculous to believe it happens normally. I have every reason to suspect that people have achieved victory by some means. htps://imgur.com/a/GBXxUSV Edited January 24, 2022 by Chen Da Shan.5418
Vancho.8750
Could be a drop hack, there are enough small pp people out there. Also it could be the directx 11 crashes. Engi can crash the game for other people on dx 11 , scrapper to be exact with Function Gyro though my game has crashed from Holo throwing grenades at me a few times but scrapper is consistent., there is also the Jades winds from rev into stealthed thief crash that sometimes happens even without dx11. There could be several other profession skill interactions that happen but i don't off.
Trevor Boyer.6524
More than likely drophacks. Everyone who makes this claim always says "it happens when my team is winning" but strangely never happens when your team is already losing. I can vouch that I've experienced this several times myself. It only ever happens in ranked or ATs in my experience. I could play unranked or pve or wvw for hours and hours and it never happens, but it happens very often in ranked and ATs.
SoftFootpaws.9134
Its people still being silly enough to run DX11 in PvP, as well as wintraders who DC on purpose. Some cosmetic items and skills are bugged and people intentionally use them to drop players. Its usually a result of using DX11 and certain software/hardware combinations. When playing PvP, switch back to DX9. Its more stable, most of the exploits were fixed long ago and the FPS improvement has absolutely no advantage in PvP which has only 5vs5 teams. The only time you need to use DX11 is in large open-world events in PvE or when playing WvW due to its nature of massive battles. Hopefully after (or during) EoD the devs will make another big pass over the rendering code. Edited January 25, 2022 by Hannelore.8153

I'm sad about not being able to play with this high frequency of attacks.
phokus.8934
It's not a drophack or anything else related to malicious TCP resets. This isn't the early 2000s where this was very prevalent due to network game design. Unless someone has your IP and does a DoS on you, or they're abusing an in-game bug to crash others, it's not someone using a so called drophack. Shao.7236
None of this has to do with DX11, friends are running 9 and 12 to which all alike drop the same when we play. There's an exploit out there or a terrible oversight. I'd rather be it the latter because for the game to crap itself like this randomly is a big nono in quality terms.
