Yes, the spec is overtuned and I'm not gonna defend it in any way, shape or form and do hope that it gets shaved come Tuesday since any tryhard comp with double SB basically undermines the concept of rotations and yaddayadda.Buuut if you insist on running some special build you theorized would be cool to play and yet consistently lose even 2v1 engagements against one SB, who just camps your home node, instead of utilizing the 4v5 situation on the rest of the map, it's also kinda your fault.

PS: pls, spare me with all the flak for playing SB. It's easy. It's not deep, not sophisticated, way too strong and even stronger if you can kite, but it's also - imo - kinda fun to play.

One Spellbreaker is indeed an Overpowered nonsense, but One Spellbreaker is not an Issue in a Match.The real problem is when Two or more of them get together, that's when it becomes an Issue.I believe that all of the complaints are directed toward OP nature of a Spellbreaker in Combat or Comp of more. Don't recall any specific "Spellbreaker was siting one point so we lost"If you check some of the videos it's 90% of the time Two Spellbreakers holding two points against 2 and 3 and not getting even close to dying.Hell it's fun when you play a Thief, cause you have nothing better to do than watch your Spellbreaker roflstomp 1v3 (not even damn kidding here, every single match...)

If you see two Spellbreakers, or even 1 spellbreaker + mesmer - switch to core s/d power thief. Not only can you kill the spellbreaker, you can do it quite fast. Thus far, it's the only 1v1 direct counter I've found that can quickly dispose of them. You have 25% increased damage under 50% enemy health + 5% from runes, and if you time popping assassin's signet you'll 1 shot the warrior. You really don't need the extra stun break in my experience with instant reflexes, proper dodging, and using your shadowstep like in the old school days of Pre-Hot. This build struggles against certain druid builds (when they take blind on heal + poison) and scourges.

Except zooming around the map with Greatsword and Warrior's Sprint makes them almost as good at roaming as thief. SB isn't "tied" to a node like those trap spam DHs or turret engis of yore.
