I don't think OP wants any unlocks.  They just want to be able to look at the map and see all the terrain so if they choose to go there at some point they already can see the paths.  The various baffled responses are because very few people are so bothered by map fog that they won't play an alt due to the map going smeary again and because it really is very easy to unfog if you don't care about completion.
