PvP build repository?

Aside Metabattle and Vullan on youtube, I can't seem to find any. I doubt the fourms will be much better considering past experiences. I don't understand why the overwhelming majority of the pvp playerbase is so stingy with builds.

Many PvP builds are identical to WvW solo/roaming/small-scale builds. Both competitive modes use similar mechanics at the low end and you usually just need to adjust your rune or sigils accordingly.

 

Due to differences in amulets, runes and sigils, there are a few builds which are PvP-only and vice versa.

Not vouching for either's merits over Metabattle, but I've seen differences across the three so its worth looking at them all and getting ideas.

Edit: looks like Gods of PvP isn't up to date at the moment since they still have a Healbreaker listed with a Mender's amulet...

Since when? I've just checked, Angeels (the guy behind godsofpvp) is not in the Hardstuck team so how is this the case?

Probably because some people copy the builds of streamers and/or top player (usually mAT winners).
And some tinker around with off-meta builds and nobody cares about off-meta builds since they.. well.. aren't meta. Usually there's more hate against off-meta build players than appreciation, even tho it might work better playing against current meta builds..
Small anecdote: Back when Sourge+FB supremacy ruled in sPvP I was running p/p Deadeye (pre-nerfs), which countered both extremely hard and I easily cheesed my way to plat 2 (starting from silver 2 in that season) and I reached rank 60 or something (failed to remain in the ladder until season end unfortunately). So it was extremely effective in pretty much every skill group. But sometimes, especially once I've reached plat2, people started calling me out for playing an "unviable build" and sometimes even just refused to play properly. Like.. Some noticed I was p/p before the match started and just didn't play at all and stayed in the base.
