But as the mode reduces to ash, what will it mean. Let go of your stupid egos, and actually think what needs to be done to make the mode competitive, not your favorite spec stronger or strongest in relation to others. No one kittening cares that you can't handle a trap guard, or a fire weaver, or a core necro, or that warrior doesn't have an identity, or that thief is always meta because the nature of conquest, or that pressing 1 button on scrapper is meta, or that guardian excels at every role, or that condi can potentially burst like power, or that their are botters.

 

Add some ideas that are not about balancing classes.

Cake first, frosting later. If the core of the game isnt balanced, any game mode additions or rating fixes have no meaning. The game has to be fun to play first, and then we can talk about variance. If Anet can't deliver the cake, then the only recipe that matters is what gets the cake made. Namely, class balance.

The people that care about clout are still playing ranked regardless of the above. I think you have that backwards.
