Have tried both the credit card option and pay pal option but then nothing happens. No next button to confirm or continue. Please help! I have tried to purchase it in both chrome and microsoft ege. No error message appears or anything. Have no problems purchasing from other websites. PayPal asking for credit cards usually is the result of the seller requesting to store payment information for future purchases or subscriptions. PayPal cannot guarantee future payments to work to the seller when there is only a PayPal balance as it can reach 0. Only the seller (ArenaNet) can fix this by allowing one-time payments as they did in the past for the in-game store. So your best option is to contact support about this. I also can no longer use PayPal in the in-game store after they changed payment provides for the same reason. I don't have a CC and ANet does not accept my PayPal balance without it. In my case I can still use iDeal payments. So, contact support to see if they want to solve this. If not, try a different payment or buy the expansion via an authorized reseller. The question is why they decided to be more strict about it now when they havent been before… Problem is they removed all re-sellers in my country some years ago because Anet wanted to be the main seller so people without a credit card is gonna have a difficult time buying any version of gw2 as of now. plzwackmybag.3075 Posted February 23, 2022 Share Posted February 23, 2022 I also purchased the collection for my 68yr aunt who loved the free game after a week and wanted EOD, I to purchased the game with my Paypal account for her, it says it was successful and got a confirmation email, but says there was a problem and the team has to investigate. That was on Thursday of last week, we created a support ticket and still no response. Very disappointed with the customer service team, if there is even one??
