2k barrier on sand shroud and other survivabilty fun

Edits1:

2188 barrier on shroud. Sand cascade is 2420 barrier on it. That's 5650 combined with "heal". Naked Consume conditions is 5240 raw healing.

Scourge has no survivability anymore, tormenting runes are dead (good riddance tbh), PARASITIC CONTAGION of all things is nerfed by half.

Reaper shroud damage absorb is nerfed for some godforsaken reason. Soul eater healing is nerfed by 1%. Let that sink in for a moment. Why...

Then garbinger is back at losing half of his HP in blight, while still gaining 12.5% damage increase from it. Autoregen is back though.

All of these are great changes.  Reaper is still a brainless immortal god in open world, but less so now.

For reaper this change means an effective damage drop in content where balance actually matters - instanced PVE, where its damage lives and dies by shroud uptime. For one of the worst power DPS specs in the game.

It's ok though. I'm sure PVP croud that cried for shroud DR reduction is happy with 50% DR remaining there.😱

If this thread is about Raids and Fractals, why be concerned about survivability? This thread is about survival in open world right?

 

The survivability in instanced is handled by dodging and actually having support in the party.

This is for overall PVE. However, specifically reaper is hit at endgame content, and there's nothing any support can do about it. It's a nerf to shroud uptime. Less time you spend in shroud, less damage you deal in practice.
