The Problem With Taking Breaks

I just used my preorder level 80 boost to make a Mesmer.

 

...And now I'm trying to figure out where to go to get level 80 daggers once I open the Virtuoso e-spec.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If you mean exotic dagger then you should get one when you unlock the spec or you can always buy one on trading post for like 1 gold.

If you want ascended then you can get one when you finish the collection for virtuoso spec, craft or get from fractal/raid/wvw/pvp vendors although thats probably not a good option for someone who returned.

So I should gind out some Hero Points to unlock Virtuoso, and will get my dagger? Nice. 🙂 Thanks!

I kinda wish there was a buy to buy the base-game hero points. Running around without a flying mount is time-consuming. Rofl.

The one you get from the espec is kinda useless. Pretty, but only comes with condi stats.

 

And Virtuoso is kind of a power spec...

So you might want to buy some assassins or berserker from tp. They're not too expensive.

I wasnt sure what stats you can select on that but if you want power stats, exotic berserker dagger will cost only arround a gold.
You can buy hero points for Proof of Heroics, Testimony of Desert Heroics or Testimony of Jade Heroics, in case you played WvW before you took a break and you have some in your wallet or you have some skirmish chests in your bank, you can pick them from the chest.
All three are basically the same thing but unique for each expansion. Now you are only able to get Testimony of Jade Heroics for example.
