Stuck in EoD Chapter 14 - The Only One

Received empowerment from Aurene.  Went back to fighting around Tamni & Joon at the main extractor.   Continuous fighting marker start text showing 'Save Gorrik and Rama", no marker star on map and I cannot leave area - am ported back.  Fighting and killing endless mobs, no way to continue.

Exited Game

Reentered chapter 14 - Back on rooftop with Tamni & Joon.  Can't interact with them.  Still have Aurene empowerment.  No monsters.  Void all around.  Cannot progress.

After fourth try, I had to hard restart my computer as it was so laggy I could not stop the mission via leaving through guild hall nor logging off. Task manager did not recognize Guild Wars program as running so I had to hard restart.

 

I was at the point of saving "Taimi & Joon" that the original author described above. I could not leave platform. Sound and visual lag causing errors. My video card and processor meets the requirements however my tv/ cpu monitor is older.

Replaced my monitor as it was 22 years old. I was able to complete the mission and received credit for the mission on Monday night (3/7). However, I have not been able to log in and successfully do anything in game since. No error messages, I just receive a screen of random colors before the game just exits itself.
