Don't know but currently it's a meta you need 1h to kill it, with at least 30min idle at wp to reserve a spot on the map. And even on organized group, TT fail ~20% of the time because no sync kill. Even if nerfed, it's seems to me the same average level the dragon meta expect, but just currently we have 6 days of rushing pug with no real organisation.
Minjin.8259
Challenging is fine, nearly impossible and RNG based no.
Raap.9065
They should be challenging, but not frustrating due to RNG mechanics. The kind of challenges the meta gets right: Movement, damage evasion, break bars, target swapping, group splitting, and requiring to free other players - all of these are totally fine mechanics. What is not fun is the RNG deciding you need to excessively deal with specific tasks that delay the fight enough that you fail to meet the timer requirement. Players can learn challenges over time, this we've seen from other "difficult" world bosses in the past... but players shouldn't be expected to have to deal with the mood of the AI on a given day, at least not to the extent as it is right now.
Xerxez.7361
I'm starting to wonder if not freeing your friends from bubbles/whirlpools causes the constant switching of mechanics.
Keymaster.7362
A simple yes to the question of this threat. I personaly like to see challenges in all game modes. But in open world, especially in a 2 hour meta, this hard challenges should never be a 'get all rewards or absoltely nothing' scenario. The challenge should be build upon the basics. There is simply way too much rng in mechanics AND playerbase. I personaly would love to see the extra loot timers from the IBS strikes in the Dragons End Meta. Nerf it to 25 minutes, so everyone has a chance to success and get the turtle. But if players are able to kill the boss in unter 20 minutes, they would be rewarded with extra loot, a hidden archievment and maybe even a random rare infusion drop chance. Maybe even double the extra rewards for try harder, which were able to kill the boss in under 15. Edited March 6, 2022 by Keymaster.7362

You just need (really) coordinated people, with a discord even if half the squad not on it, with some roles filled by veteran with specific build (like blocker/condi husk in TT) to provide alac/quick/might/heal on each sub, with people reading the chat and following com order. So, I just do another meta. No KP required this time. Just asking for 15 offensive quick/alac booners (alacren, qfb, qchrono…). 50 ppl, hidden tag, half the squad on a discord, correct sub dispatch. No problem at all, very efficient run, at boss at 15:xx on the escort chrono. But the kitten CC not ok each time, seems nobody on openworld know what this mecanic is. So we fail at 6%, but this run show it is definitively doable with just organization (and a mini-CC training before the start) and standard openworld people. Just one or two CC ok over the 5 failures and the kill was possible. IMO, at this time ppl just ranting about failing the meta the try-hard mode way, joining squad without any kind of organization and meta knowledge and expecting a given easy kill at the end.
