Game crash

I was chatting with my guild in Lions Arch (also testing a build for Machinist) and the game crashed. I tried to load back in and, according to the character portrait, she was in Arborstone. I tried to log in on different characters but none of them would let me log in. It keeps saying "check your internet connection". My internet connection is fine, I can do everything else just fine and play any other game I want just fine. I'm running repairs hoping that'll work.

Same issue. I'm playing with 3 other people who are also having this problem. It tries to put us at a map we weren't anywhere near when attempting to log back in then it crashes.

There are rollbacks happening when we the client crashes. Armor skins I had just used seconds before the crash were unused in my inventory when I lgot back in. When this happened right at reset my group had to open our log-in chests a second time.

I'm back in now, but this has been happening on-and-off since the expansion launched for me.

Had this happen at the end of a Tequatl meta this morning. Many people, enough to wonder if it was the entire map, lost their rewards/completion. We got back into Sparkfly Fen about five minutes later and figured out in map chat we'd had the same experience. Looking back through the forums it seems like an error around releases before, and probably has something to do with server load. I doubt our entire map of players had simultaneous, independent router issues!

 

It's the first morning of the first weekend, and by now the entire US is awake--servers are probably pretty stressed right now. Hopefully things smooth out over the next few days.

same here, game freezed in wvw map. I can start the game and pick a character but unable to join any map. Result: Network Error popup.

 

Guess it was a server crash. Seemed every one crashed on wvw. Can join again.
