Balance I wish for today

Then you'll realize that if you can only play core specs they're RIDICULOUSLY unbalanced. Core Thief/Guard/War/Ele are gods and core Engi/Necro/Ranger/Mesmer are plebs. Core Rev has never existed cause it came out with Herald but... point is, you'd be back on the forums crying in .5 minutes

Two best EU teams used pre-hot comps with Mesmers (Helseth & Misha), and your team used Necro (Nos)... but well, that was the past, we got different amulets and now we have "rebalanced" trait lines around elite specializations, so I guess they wouldn't work anymore even in -core- meta.

Yes, because now the game is very balanced right?Also I never cried on forum and I play since release.I just would prefere a pvp gameplay more simple (not easier) and more clean, like it was pre HoT. With less spam of everything (condi, cleans, burst, cc, heals, boons, corruption)I would enjoy it more than now, that rarely I log on.

But that’s my opinion, that’s why I wrote “BALANCE I WISH”

Yep, totally irrelevant due to Acrobatics/Flanking Strike buffs, Radiance buffs, Strength buffs, and so forth, half the core specializations haven't been lifted up to the power of even second rate builds.

Core necro was only ever used for signet corrupts. Interestingly enough signet corrupts where deleted from the game on the August 8th patch. Without signet corrupts there is pretty much zero chance of a valid core necro build emerging, unless literally every single core traitline on necro is overhauled.

Thats not true. Terrormancer was played before new (read: current) traitlines were given, thus before Signet build became viable... but I agree that core Necro needs reworks, mostly for his shroud which is so outdated machanicaly, just look at Holosmith, thats how Shroud could look like instead of meh 2nd HP bar.

Changes that would make me happy:

  1. Demonic Lore (scourge trait) gets a 2 second ICD in pvp.
  2. Revenge Counter (spellbreaker trait) condis copied reduced from 3 to 5. Resistance removed. Damage increase reduced to 15% from 20%.
  3. Unhindered Combatant aka dash (daredevil trait) condition removal part gets a 5 second ICD.
  4. Crystal Configuration: Eclypse (holosmith trait) only gains stability if you hit a target with it.
  5. Last Stand (warrior trait) ICD increased to 60 seconds from 40. Increased stance duration reduced to 20% from 25%.
  6. Berserker's Stance (warrior utility) duration reduced from 9 seconds to 8.
  7. Defy Pain (warrior trait) ICD increased to 90 seconds from 60.
  8. Self-Regulating defenses (engineer trait) health threshold increased to 50% from 25%.
  9. Crystal Hibernation (revenant weapon skill) clears one condition per pulse. Max pulses changed to 3. Cooldown increased to 30 seconds from 25.
  10. Protective ward (ranger trait) weakness removed. Now you gain 250 additional toughness for the duration. ICD increased from 18 to 30.
  11. Tempest defense (ele trait) ICD increased from 25 to 40.
  12. Shadow meld (thief elite) count recharge increased to 50 from 45.
  13. Jaunt (mirage elite) confusion stacks lowered from 3 to 1.
  14. Holo Leap (holosmith PF skill) damage reduced by 33% in all game modes.
  15. Riptide (weaver weapon skill) evade duration reduced by 0.25 seconds. Healing field duration reduced by 1 second.
  16. Shield Stance (warrior skill) Block duration reduced to 2 seconds from 3 (engineer toolkit treatment)
  17. Dragon's tooth (elementalist skill) damage increased by 20%. Cast time reduced to 0.75 from 1. Aftercast reduced by 33%.
  18. Idk what firebrand does but wtf nerf its sustain a bit.
  19. Ride the Lightning (elementalist off hand dagger skill) now has evade frames.
  20. Ancestral Grace (druid skill) cooldown increased to 25 seconds from 18.
