Unranked broken..

WHYYYYY must you force me to play hotjoin now? Ugh i wont touch ranked i got bored of it and how toxic and noncompetitive it is after season 4. Guess i can take the time to try more 2v2 tdm or courtyard. I'd rather sit in a a map with music on and web browsing while waiting for people then waste time playing ranked.

Rank is best described as a trashcan fire in the middle of a nuclear plant. Anet wants you to try and dance around circles to stomp it out. But if you fix the problem you will die of radiation . That's gw2 ranked pvp, too toxic to even bother with these days. Hotjoin or time for netflix till unranked it open.

Serious tho. i mean breaking ranked que is fine because ranked isn't worth the time of day to play. But they crossed the line taking unranked down.

Not even that. It's just one issue of many. When they allow toxic people to flourish in the game like the last few seasons and the ones on the cheaterboard. On top of stale circle dancing pvp that killed ESL, it just isn't worth bothering with. You either get a pve reward hunter/afk to ruin your game or it's a match manipulator maybe even a bot. I'd rather play unranked with the same not so good pugs as ranked has.

Honestly, I think the worst of it is that they don't even make a halfhearted effort to keep things balanced. "This seems overpowered. Let's wait six months, then smiter's boon it."

Meanwhile, successful PvP games come out with balance patches once or twice per month, not including bug fixes. And, you know, nerf the things that are too powerful (firebrand did not need buffs, and scourge was definitely in need of trimming) and buff the things that are too weak (why did they nerf revenant?).

Oh, and successful PvP games typically have devs who respond to well thought out suggestions and questions in the forum. Here, we have threads discussing important issues disappear without warning or any reason given.
