GW2 floaty combat feels dated and capcom has this neat technique that really works.

Here's a video of an older game with combat done by the people who made devil may cry but it shows it more clearly!

Enemies who are hit, even if they are not knocked down, stunned, dazed or any control effects done whatsoever still do a little 'enemy shake' that doesn't affect them at all. It's just a visual cue. And it syncs with the weapon impact sound to make the hits feel like they have some weight!
