nono this is not a joke xD! There is a celestial/Diviner-Grenade-Mechanist. This build is literally like having Godmode! Fortunately not many people play it but i can share you the link if you are interested xD this build is INSANE!

Idk if putting one diviner piece in is worth mentioning that this is a cele diviner mix. Or that that one piece is even worth using at all. Also hgh with one elixir kinda funny

with the Diviner piece and the Concentration infusions you hit a spot where you have 100% coverage on stability. HGH is taken simply because of this. The build tries to be Untouchable by CC and needs the extra duration on the stability to reach that goal. This is not my build, i have not created it. My brother created it and he is having great success with it.

100% stab uptime is pointless when your stab skills only provide 1 and 2 stacks of stab, I mean are you not actually aware that hard CC removes a stack of stab? (lets not even go into how certain boonrip skills have stab as high priority) Because that would seem to be the only explanation given your wonderment at this.

 

This build is trash as a roamer:

- It has poor damage application. (you aren't sitting on a node in WvW like PvP)

- It's alacrity largely relies playing against players who stand there and get hit by the 3rd phase of mace 1 like a target golem.

- It is are easy to focus because no stealth, no invurn, no evades, no blinds, etc.

- Then its rubbish for securing kills because it has limited chase ability in a game where people run as soon as they think they might lose.

- No secure stomp.

- Scales badly as numbers increase.

- Has skills with a high opportunity cost.

- The 1 or 2 stacks of stab is weak even against one person, let alone more.

and so on.

 

There is a reason there aren't many mechanists roaming in WvW and it isn't because they are good. ;)

Thats your humble opinion. Yet i challange you to meet me in Armistice or if we happen to be enemys in WvW, meet me there. Bring your best buddy and i will kill you both in a 2v1, with both hands tied behind my back, just slamming my forehead on the Keyboard. I bet 200 Gold that i win against you and your best buddy in a 2v1 when i use this build. Good luck wasting 3 CCskills that do 0 damage on me, without me dodging,Blocking,Aegis,etc. any of it, just to break thru the stabilitywall. Then you hit your next CC just to notice that i also have 3 Stunbreaks. This build has 3 stunbreaks; 29 seconds stabi with 40 second CD; 14 second Stabi on 32 secondCD !!!!Dont forget to substract 25% of the Cooldown of those because you have permaalac 😃 !!!!. That is  a total of 3 stacks that are going to be on the Mechanist nonstop + 3 stunbreaks. That means you need a minimum of 7 CCskills in short succession to even make anything happen here! If i dodge anything this number even increases further. You make it sound so easy, when in reality you just said "Dump 6 CCSkills that do 0 damage into the Stability and Stunbreaks and you are good to go". Please name one single build that has 6 CC skills and then a 7. left to setup a burst... (Keep in mind you need atleast 6 Stuns in short succession to even make anything happen, If i dodge any of that or block/blind/aegis.... You are in big trouble, because all of a sudden you need like 8 or 9 Stuns to keep the mechanist in place....) I will just keep running circles and spamming nades behind me all day.

no cap. If you want the money come and get it. This build is stupid strong and im going to show you.

there are no grenades in your "celestial/Diviner-Grenade-Mechanist" . In fact there is no damage at all. How in this would can anything die to this? Everyone outheals your damage by just pressing 6

Nadekit is not in the build? Then i have linked the wrong one sorry. Elixirgun has to be the nades, pardon. You can play the build with nades or Elixirgun. Elixigun also improves from HGH.

This build works 100% and no healskill on earth will save you from it:D Please for the love of god. TRY IT and tell me what you think.

it still looks like the healer spec. There is no damage at all in this build. Untraited nades suck and you cant chase or cc anything.

Try it. 😃 Use elixir gun if you think nades dont work.

The permanent 25 stacks might make this 100% viable in terms of damage. Just spam your stuff on cooldown and keep whacking and stunning them with the mace and watch your mech kill them xD

The sheer barrage of CC that you need to even remotely stop this build makes it unkillable for alot of the things that run around in WvW. And the damage of cele with 25 might+the Mech is more than enough to kill. If you think the Damage is to low swap some Cele pieces for Diviner and take healinginfusions instead of Concentration. As long as you hit that +90% Boonduration you are good to go.

I fought a Mechanist probably running something celestial or diviner yesterday. It was a pain to kill because the sustain was solid but the Damage overall wasn't above B grade.
 

(For context: C grade is unable to kill all but the newest players, B grade can kill average players but isn't too threatening without additional allied players focusing, A grade is moderately threatening and can down even veteran players solo, S grade is anything that can effectively oneshot targets solo.

 

The mechanist then swapped to Holosmith to try to kill me an additional 2 times. Obviously, from his perspective Holo was a better choice than Mechanist for roaming. (He lost both times as a holo). 
 

Not saying Mechanist isn't decent but I'd stick to it in a group roaming context rather than solo roaming where the pet is easy to play around and no matter how much sustain you bring, you will still go down after trying to both sustain and apply damage.
