Too much bass/low end sound

I'm experiencing a disbalance in the sound department, mainly the low end thats way too boomy. For instance, hopping on the Springer, or opening an event chest sound really boomy. I have to turn down the volume really low in the evening to not wake up the neighbours.

I'm only experiencing this in this game and both with my speakers and headphones, so I don't want to fiddle around with my sound settings on my receiver since I'm happy with them outside of GW2.

 

Any way to tweak it a bit?

I'm not experiencing this issue, so it may be localized to just a few players.
