  1. 1. Very well, today we got Thousand Seas Pavilion location in gem store. The island is stated as a strange place floating in the mists, however to me is seems too much Canthan to be an unknown area in the mists. Therefore I vote it should be moved from blank "mist-shrouded" map to some isle around Cantha for the description as an island near Cantha deeply connected to the mists would suit it much better. Do you agree?

    • Just add some tentacled monsters there (did anyone say DSD minions?)

If they moved it to the main Tyrian map it would lose the option of returning to your previous map. That's one of the main reasons Mistlock Sanctuary and Armistice Bastion are more popular than the other lounges, you can teleport there from anywhere in the world, do whatever you needed to do and then go straight back to exactly where you were. According to Anet that's only possible because they're in seperate maps.

Also a lot of the Mists resembles Tyria. The WvW and PvP maps are in the Mists, and they all look like parts of Tyria. There are unformed areas in the mists and strange places which don't resemble anything in Tyria, but a lot of it is replicas, so it's not unusual that there's an island which looks like Cantha.

Home instance portal transports to and from the place you were. Same as guildhall.

The way they made this lounge (separate map) they could have just made it in the world map.

Except it is on the world map, just outside of where you can scroll to. If you place a personal marker and go to e.g. Divinity's Reach then the marker will still show you the direction on the mini map.

That is the point. To be able to scroll through the map and read it even when you are in this area. Even the Mistlock Sanctuary has this possibility.
