Virtue of Justice active effect is overpowered.

Being able to give 5 allies/npcs a buff that:

  1. Can't be evaded/blocked therefor always do damage.
  2. Is easily accessible.
  3. Has 600 radius active.

Shouldn't exist or at least not be shared to the same degree, it creates unavoidable pressure that is extremely cheesy and with resistance out of the equation for the longest time, forcing players to wait for the entire pressure to clear it is unfair since burning damage scale really fast. Clearing bit by bit is not an option since the rest of the pressure is again, not avoidable.

A lot of the time it gets exploited in TDM and it makes it extremely unfun to play, counting in the fact that with the new expansion, the condi spam crept up a lot and makes burning even harder to clear.

If you have 5 people attacking you at the same time. Let's be generous and say 3 of which are playing condi builds. (Dmg scales off of each persons condi damage, not the guards.) The least issue is the burn stacks that are cleansed with a single cleanse.

Edit, it's actually really oppressive when you're a condi mirage.

People use anything that can add up to the effect, doesn't matter if there's condi damage or not. You just can't do anything about it because damage is unavoidable.

Spvp forum is so full of complaints that even niche complaints are common now.

Yeah QQ whatever, complain complain. It's been a problem forever and not the first time it's been mentioned. This is not niche in the slightest. Players know how Virtue of Justice is and they even exploit it in the current 3v3 groups. I haven't seen anything but Necros with Double Guards every TDM in tops every seasons, guess I'm just not deemed valid asking for the game to not be boring asf.

What do you mean by "Can't be evaded therefor always do damage." ? Isn't it on-hit effect and you can dodge that hit?

You will always get burned, the effect never goes away. You have to constantly avoid ever being hit or have it run out. Even that is silly to attempt because the CD is so low that it'll just be ready again even if you completely avoided it for 20 seconds.

Now put that in perspective when fighting any professions that have mobs/clones. That will always be a possible total of 18 burn stacks every 20 or 17 seconds that you have to tank/clear away because there is 6 possible foes that have guaranteed burns on their next attack that actually hits you because dodging/blocking any of those attacks will not remove the active effect, it can only run out.

Meaning that you'd need 6 different clears if you ever so happened to get hit by each of them individually and to be most efficient at dealing with that damage is receive it all at once then clear it, but that can go horrible wrong since you can be CC'd as it happens and burn scaling is really high so waiting is a big loss of health. There's hardly any condition damage reduction in the game even with Resolution being added and much of those traits and skills were nerfed to be multiplicative rather than additive, just to remind that it used to be possible to have 100% condition damage reduction.

Sad that they even took that away as rare as it was being used and very costly to achieve.
