kokocabana.8153 Posted May 11, 2022 Share Posted May 11, 2022 (edited) I think the only thing that being on different worlds affects is WvW now and they are planning to get rid of it with the eventual alliance system. The alliance system will act like a guild except it will be only for WvW and will let players in different worlds join up together. Danikat.8537 Posted May 11, 2022 Share Posted May 11, 2022 Seconding both of the above replies: you only need to be on the same server for WvW so unless that's what you're doing there's no need for your friend to transfer, but if he does want to there's no way to send gems directly so you'll have to send gold for him to convert into gems. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
