been out of raid for while, just curious with eod if pwr alac still meta/needed compare to other alac source?

Power Alacren still good in fractals for the things it brings (acceptable DPS, CC, protection, CC, vulnerability, CC, stability, etc.)

Power alac rene has a niche because it provides burst and cc, which other alac provider cant really do in the same amount. As mentioned above, in fractals (where many phases are) its better than condi alac rev...and probably all over condi alac specs.

 

It depends on the group composition ,so there isnt really a "alac meta". But Power alac rene is still good and usable.

depends on the raid boss. Like on Samarog its more meta than any other alac source

Only if you have 2 healers. not offering might is a huge drawback now. Its still good cc and ease of use alac but no fury, no might and the legend support mechanic are not helping rev. and if you have 2 healers you might aswell just play cren and get dps with more cc like berserkers.

Well the main healer will probably be HFB, so alac is not covered. And having alac rene giving most of the cc is a way better option than having Berserkers waste damage from going to mace. Alac rene is also able to take rune of pack, if the main healer isnt capable of giving any fury. Might is no problem with alac rene.

Main healer is ham nowadays since it does way more healing than hfb. qfb is also doing more dps than alac quick options.

Berserker loses almost 0 dps from swapping to maces on bosses like sloth or sama. pack runes cost quite a lot of dps for some fury.

Of course might is an issue with alac ren. f2 does 10. who is doing the other 15? There are other, way better options currently. its outdated.

Power ren doesnt loose that much from pack runes. And i doubt ham is gonna be the Meta because even HFBs healing was overkill before & it simply does more boons and has more utility.  F2 does 10might with each usage, dont forget.
