Deception Recharge Nerf!

Honestly the CD reduction loss is a bigger deal than the stealth loss, deception skills are the only utilities worth using really and 40-50 second CD's REALLY suck for basic functionality like shadowstep, which need I remind was given to 2-3 other classes in EoD with like 20 second CDs. Also having it replaced with a pathetic 1k barrier on heal is beyond a joke, this is totally going to make specter a viable support guys 🙃

Seriously. I want to see Shadowstep reduced to 40 seconds, and I want to see the duration of Shadow Return extended too. Let it go to 30 seconds. Come on!

It offsets the cost by refunding three. But the move is slow and difficult to land on a player. Nevermind easily dodged or interrupted

The CDR loss is more painful than the benefit of the init regen. Since we no longer have stealth on steal. 

It could've had synchronization with acrobatics on a DD... Since Acro gives the buff for stamina regen. Leap finishers on the dodge for stealth which can be done with smoke from dagger pistol. But acro is hot garbage to sacrifice a full trait.

 

And because trickery is always taken, we don't really have a choice anyways.

  • Hide in Shadows: Reduced cooldown from 40 seconds to 30 seconds in PvP only.
  • Blinding Powder: Reduced cooldown from 50 seconds to 40 seconds in PvP only.
  • Shadow Refuge: Reduced cooldown from 60 seconds to 48 seconds in PvP and WvW.

So most of these skills cooldown reductions became baseline in PvP. In WvW they are overpowered. In PvE you don't need them.

40 second shadowstep... thx for the laugh! That skill is functionally the most overpowered skill in the game and your free out of jail card for any possible situation. But sure lets lower it to 40, so you can reset after you messed up even more often.

Yes, the free get out of jail card, because no other class in the game has 1200 range ports right now.
