Why keep limited Single-arm Cosmetics to One Arm?

Recommended Posts

The Grub Lane Heart In Kaineng City proves that you can make prosthetics / " Arm effect " Cosmetics apply to either arm

So Why not apply this going forward for single-arm cosmetics?

it's freedom of character design and a MASSIVE improvement that I don't believe would be too much more difficult to implement.

So if it can be done for Non-gemstore items , Why isn't it available for Gemstore items too?

It'd make more sense to have more flexibility in the items we actually have to pay for

The jade thing is too bulky and gaudy anyways otherwise I'd enjoy it~ the one the NPC uses is better. Just like the peg leg is ruined by being too wide and having a massive boot.

Sticking with the demon arm as it's superior to it and lets you pick arms. No reason to waste gems.

If they were to suddenly let people choose left or right or both, they'd better go back and rework every old item to have the same functionality.

But that'd be a nice QoL update and would make no money.

Yet, when they started making gliders to match existing winged backpacks,  They did not go back and make the older winged backpacks dyeable.  Every  New backpack and glider combo allows you to dye both items.  Quite a few new players get disappointed when they buy a glider backpack combo and find out that the back item cannot be dyed.

Anet does not have  a good track record for changing equipment skins.  (except for the elegant canthan outfit; some of us were having too much fun with the leggings on that one.  it only took Anet about two weeks to alter that skin.)

Because they don't ask us at character select what hand is our characters dominant hand.
Silly Anet missing customization options.

Best they could do is make it an option in settings where you can "flip" the model, so everything looks like left hand is the dominant hand. At least that's how I would go about.
