Grenades extinct in sPvP

Anyone noticed this? Have maybe seen one grenade user in all my PvP games for months. They couldn't play the game because *deep breath* players finally learned how to use magnetic aura, swirling winds, poison cloud, reflects, rev bubble, guardian bubble...

 

At least they have company in the Bomb kit, Utility Goggles, and Turret scrap heap.

I can't imagine what could have caused a bunch of people to run projectile counters in recent memory.

I stopped playing grenades. Why would I run that when I can DPS from 1200 range with rifle? Multiple CC on rifle, CC on signet, CC on F2, CC on F3.

Mortars are nice. If someone throws a reflect up, you have a bit of time to dodge it. Same is also true in reverse but if people are congregating on a point it tends to work out more in your favor than theirs.
