Two small changes to make hammer a bit better!

Hammer is not good in competitive modes. These proposed changes will most likely not change that, but they will make it a bit better.

Changes:

Swap the circumstantial dependencies of Fierce Blow and Back Breaker. In simpler terms, have Fierce Blow’s damage increase be predicated on the foe being weakened, and have Back Breaker receive a damage increase from hitting CCD foes. How would this look? Specifically;

 

Fierce Blow: Strike your foe with a Fierce Blow, dealing additional damage if the foe is weakened. 
Damage remains the same. 

Back Breaker: Knock down your foe. If the foe is already controlled, deal increased damage instead. 
Damage: 820 (1.82)

 

Bonus: change Hammer Shock from Cripple to Weakness to create better combos within the weapon set.

 

How would this make warrior’s hammer better? Well, instead of having access to damage from only 2 main skills, it’s expanded to a third skill. With damage values as high as hammers have, just one more damage source massively expands the potential of hammer. Will this make hammer meta or viable? No. Probably not. There’s too many core issues on warrior. But, it would make hammer more usable IMO, and much more fun. Thats basically what my mace recommendation is, I believe it’s still on the front page, titled A Mace Rework! . I think mace fits better as a condi weapon,  and hammer could viably be an alternative 2 w handed power weapon to greatsword, which is quite needed on warrior imo. Yeah, I'm not sold on this. The cone of Cripple on Hammer Shock is massively valuable, especially when traited to immob via Leg Specialist.

In fact, Hammer Shock's probably the only Hammer skill that's in a really good place.

If anything it should function like the Armament skill. 

Apply Cripple on enemies and if they are crippled Immob them. 

Or just put aoe immob on it to not rely on the rng from leg specialist which is kinda kitten when you consider how it onky applies to 1 target (correct me if I am wrong, I think it's just the first target out of the 5 to receive the cripple, that gets immobd)

I can only testify as to how the skill behaves in PvE, but it definitely affects multiple targets there.

I think it behaves in competetive the same way as Cull the Weak. 

If you hit 5 targets under 50% health, only one of them gets the weakness. Same for leg specialist and cripple. But I gotta make sure of that tonight.
