Raid LFG on US servers

I recently switched from a EU to a US server and the LFG - not only for raids - but for a LOT of content, is DEAD. Is everyone in a static or something? Even on Monday there were 3 LFG groups (versus the 10 Raid-Sellers). And even those groups are strange to me: no kp or LI requirement. So, you have players that have 2k LI and 10 LI in the same squad. 

 

If you guys pug your way through weekly raids, is there a secret to it I'm missing? A specific time or day that is "better?" I'm so confused that the LFG is practically inactive.

There are many people organizing via guilds and Discord groups, instead of using the LFG tool.

The ~9hours time difference between the EU and the USA likely is contributing to your different experience as well.

The Raid LFG has been pretty dead for years on NA. KP has fallen out of fashion in PUGs more generally. Strike missions won't usually ask for them and Fractals only want Dances With Demons for CMs. A great deal of players use statics or join guilds to get runs. Discord organized groups want/check KP, but those groups are dying off too.  If someone underperforms in PUGs they are just going to get kicked. 

Fractal PUG situation is fine. Strike groups when they form will fill fast, though it seems like NA PUGs has a commander tag problem where not enough people doing strikes have one.
