WoW's dragonflying is doing something I'd like to see in GW2

Recommended Posts

Overall the whole thing looks worse than GW2's iteration of it, but I do like how WoW added a spell that launches the mount in the sky.

This'd be neat to have on the skyscale and griffon. Of course you might say it'd make the Springer irrelevant, but that'd be ignoring the fact that it's already irrelevant anyway.

The skyscales makes most other mounts irrelevant by doing just that already.

1. Not really.

2. If you really think so, then there's even less of a reason to further buff it.

This is actually relatively true though. The amount of 30k ap condi druid mains who think just bc they've been playing the game for such and such amount of time means they know literally everything on these forums is ... exactly why this place gets memed anywhere else.

If you got cry/upset reacts, you may have said something silly but in most cases you did something right and offended the Andys and Kevins :^)

I  take offence to be called a condi druid, Im harrier all the way baby.

I feel offended, I'm still missing 3.5k AP to get there. And I still need to become a condi druid main in that time!

On a different note, the mount design in GW2 wants you to still interact with the world in some way. The moment you add a convenient rocket launch, none's going to be on the ground anymore, just swooping through there with their griffon. The new way to unlock all waypoints with taco, lol.
I also want to mention that I use the springer a lot! I feel like there are Skyscale connoisseurs and there are people who just pair up Springer+Griffon to have their way. Requires a lot of mount switching sure, but if you're used to it, it's just as fast in most situations and the griffon is just more fun.

But....but you can already do this? Hop on your springer, hold down jump, and just before you run out of endurance, hit your mount button and you'll fly into the air while off your mount, able to either glide or hop on either flying mount.

I think they are wanting something that is simpler than "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start" to make it happen.

Crud, you gave away the secret code for unlocking the Imperial Star Destroyer mount! Now it will lose all of its prestige...🤫
