Which world boss or meta events drop infusions or items that can make you instant rich?

I don't know, but you could look on the trading post for expensive items, then look on the wiki to figure out where they come from.

Bear in mind any random drop which is so valuable it can make you instantly rich will be very, very rare. Otherwise everyone would farm it to sell and the price would go down. If you're looking to make a few hundred gold you may be able to get a lucky drop within a few weeks of doing those events regularly, if you're looking for something like an infusion worth a few thousand gold it may be several months or more.

If your goal is to make gold don't focus too much on one specific item, find events which give good rewards for the time required, including the chance at a very rare item, and sell all the loot you don't want on the Trading Post (or salvage it and sell the materials, that's often more profitable). That way you'll still make a profit even if you don't get a lucky drop.

Otherwise:

1) Chak Infusion from Chak Gerent in Tangled Depths (HoT)

2) Confetti Infusion from Pinata in Crystal Oasis (PoF)

3) Queen bee from Mordrem Vinewrath in Silverwastes

4) Frost Legion from North Meta in Drizzlewood

5) Invisible boots from any treasure mushroom (found mostly in heart of maguuma)

6) Crystal Infusion from Death Branded Shatterer (DBS) in Jahai Bluffs

7) Pristine Dragon's eye from Dragonstorm 

8  ) Aurillium infusion from Octovine in Auric Basin (HoT)

 

At least in EU, you can try 5 out of 8 in the so called "infusion trains" which tend to start at 2), then go to 1) and try to do 5), then go to 8. and try to do 5) and finish at 6). 

Doing this train once per day it does makes sense cause you will get map currency, amalgamated gemstones plus some gear and other loot. About the 3) and 4) the meta depends on the map progression and it is not scheduled every 2 hours as the meta events that are included in the infusion trains.

Finally, Dragonstorm can be done either scheduled on a public instance or whenever you want in a private instance (squad).

The one boss event that can make you instantly wealthy consists of asking your boss for a payroll advance in order to buy gems/gold. I dont particularly recommend this event because the kind of boss aggro you might get can be very dangerous.

(Need to do meta for 15 mins)

 

2) Confetti Infusion from Pinata in Crystal Oasis (PoF)

(Also need to do meta for 15 mins, gives you a currency which can be used to buy balloons/tonics) 

 

3) Queen bee from Mordrem Vinewrath in Silverwastes

(The whole meta will provide you keys for chests that can be found after final boss, which is said to be a good gold maker) 

 

4) Frost Legion from North Meta in Drizzlewood

 

5) Invisible boots from any treasure mushroom (found mostly in heart of maguuma)

(doing the last map's meta will lead you to 3 mushroom spawns, I think south-middle-north places)

 

6) Crystal Infusion from Death Branded Shatterer (DBS) in Jahai Bluffs

 

7) Pristine Dragon's eye from Dragonstorm

(Need to max out your IBS mastery line for dragonstrom) 

 

8  ) Aurillium infusion from Octovine in Auric Basin (HoT)

(Doing this meta leads several chests, one of the big ball chests may contain the infusion, not the meta boss, also all these chests gives good money too, preferably do it when map bonus has bauble which is 30s and also do pre metas for liquid gold)

 

9) Void infusion - From EoD last map's meta rewards. Dragon chest (I think) gives a chance for its drop.

The infusion drop is tradable, as long as you don't open the Glob that drops from Dragon's End meta.

It's the Glob that drops, not the infusion itself.
