Which race has the shortest level 10 story step?

Human middle class, I think.

 

Edit: It's important to understand why humans are better at keyfarming. If you hit level 2 in the tutorial (ie. Tomes), you can wp to queensdale and skip the tutorial. Sylvari also has a fast level 10 option, but no way to skip the tutorial.

I always find human noble best. Pop out to Queensdale for a couple steps, then the rest is in DR.

[edit] another thing to consider when doing the key runs: are there weapons you don't normally use that need their achievements maxed? If so, play a character that uses them. Every little bit helps, and I finished off some that way.

Ah Lord Faren. The self proclaimed rich guy who seems to not be able to afford pants. Never did that level 10 story. I know which one my key runner will choose next time.

It's not the fastest but some of my pals used to do Asura Synergetics story instead of the traditional human commoners. It has the big advantage of running around much less because it all takes place in Metrica and lets you AFK much more compared to the human story which has like a billion map changes and running around.

Another vote for human noble here.  I usually get it done on Mondays while listening to podcasts. ( I know all the dialog by heart now -  "What are *you* doing here, silk-drawers?" "Looks like someone's come to kill me boys" etc. )

Also thank you for mentioning the weapon use achievement...I never thought of that and now I'll make sure to see what I still need and work on them weekly this way.
