Fny.4502
Why in the world is the new decade cape smaller on females? It is a brilliant cape and I absolutely love it, was so happy when I first saw it. On a male character. Then I had a preview look on a female toon and was horribly disappointed. What would drive them to make it so underwhelming for the ladies? Arenanet please, please resize it so it's just as good for females as for males! https://i.gyazo.com/acbbb3c6d53e4b43432406dfa58d6e2a.png https://i.gyazo.com/12960a4b71cfd7595d78040fe86f90de.png 3 3

hash.8462
This is the same problem that many other cloaks have, if it's intended they should at least put a choice between the two sizes.
fatihso.7258
It's time Anet to implement tech so that we can make some armor pieces bigger or smaller, shorter or longer with help of a slider. This will also help artists immensely so they won't have to worry about setting a fixed size trying to satisfy most players. Fenom.9457
I don’t get it... it’s totally scaled the same just females are a bit smaller

Which means it is proportionally shorter. So just below the knees instead of a full cape length.

For male character, parts of the cape almost reach the ground, for female character the same part of the cape reaches to about the calf. The difference in length relative to the character is fairly clear. They're probably not scaling the lenght though, but instead the whole cape frame -in this case, judging by OP's screenshots, it's probably rescaled to fit the shoulder width, which makes a bigger difference than scaling according to the height would be (but then the cape for female characters would be too wide). Doggie.3184
Why is everything more encumbering and suffocating on males than they are on females?

I think I see what you mean, the capes scale differently due largely in part to how much narrower the (human) female character bodies are. Which means that its going to be shorter due to maintaining the same proportions of the male one. They'd either have to stretch it out or redesign it with different proportions, either way its going to look a fair bit different from the male one. hash.8462
Please, check the pictures better ... the male cloak is already stretched horizontally (the dwarven emblem is not circular), I don't see why not to do it also to the female one (vertically). Two sizes of the same cape so everyone is happy. 🙂(maybe the guild one at full size and the other one shorter or vice versa)
Jukhy.2431
Could be also affected by your character height slider setting, just like some other scaling things like mount sizes.
