Infusion.7149 Posted September 9, 2022 Share Posted September 9, 2022 I doubt staff is getting major changes again after they super buffed fire attunement on staff last patch. It is currently benching 36-40K on weaver according to Fennec. The build uses 1-1-1 in fire, 2-1-2 in earth. That's not even including any staff tempest running aura share or alacrity builds (even in WVW). You can make full use of water 2-3-2 or 3-2-2 , and air 3-2-1 is always relevant for DPS. The biggest problem I see with traits overall while using staff is Pyromancer's Puissance. This used to be quite popular in WVW but they changed it to remove 10 stacks of might which means more or less you don't have full might unless people are dumping out might. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As always, Infusion provides a great perspective. If you want some inspiration on Staff traits, WvW is a good place to look. Nearly everything will translate over into an acceptable PvE build.
