Why 3v3 when you can't queue as 3?

I don't mind 3s, I think they seem pretty decent actually. But why would you have a game mode that doesn't support groups? I understand the fact that you'd be in an advantage queueing up as three vs three solos but, you have the same problem even when queueing up as two premades. I'd say it'd be swell if we could que up all together.

Maybe because duo Q is already abused to the limit and is one of the reasons the game mode is bad ? If you want to play as teams there's unranked, tournaments and custom arenas.

 

A fully organised team stomping a handful of pugs isn't fair.

Now instead of getting set up against premades sometimes because you didn't want to find two people to pvp with you, you will have to deal with people syncing alts to your match and throwing on them with no way to prevent that. 

Which, do you think, is worse?

I don't know, I got into this because of ded games and wanting to play pvp with friends. I'm not looking for non competitive, and I'm not looking to play the soloQ with randoms. In Conquest it was a bit different, cuz I could always impact map on other places, but playing pvp as support in 3s when one person is kiting everybody but their team and the other is doing jumping-jacks in a corner is no fun.

They should have 3v3 MATs in addition to 5v5 MATs.  And offer more rewards for people who actively participate in MATs (i.e. win at least 1 game) to encourage people to play MATs.

Yup. Exactly. It's NOT 3v3, it's (2 v 1) v 3. The "team" in the parentheses is NOT on the same page.
