Visual for channeling Specter's Mind Shock gone?

I picked up Specter again and distinctly remember the yellow expanding circle when you use your 5 ability in Shadow Shroud, indicating charging up the effect of that ability. Now, it has no indicator. If I look at videos from 4 months ago, it's there, but from a couple weeks ago, it's gone.

 

I still see AoE circles and charges, so I'm wondering if it's a bug, if it got removed  in a recent patch, or if it's some sort of toggle in the settings now?

They remove it. Probably because it was messing to see enemy aoe in PVE (like the red/orange circle in KO strike)

I still think that a quick flash and quickly fading out a couple of times would help without covering other AOE.

I definitely tried to dodge out my own mind shock a few times, especially when alot of EoD strikes have similar looking mechanics.

I think though the problem could have been solved if the aoe colour wasn't the same as the bosses aoes.
