I have 450 unspent Hero Points but cannot use them?

I have all 3 elite specs maxed on my main character. It seems as if I cannot trade the HPs in wvw with the vendor either. There should be a way to consume them into the wallet?

Why should there be they are already not taking up any space.

It's just how the game is designed. It might have something to do with the achievement system. You get achievements for maxing out the new professions on your characters when you use the points.

Why add them to the wallet? There's nothing else you can spend them on, and they're not taking up any space, plus they're intended to be a character specific resource, while the wallet is account wide.

It's actually really nice that there are way more points than you can spend, because that way you are not pressed to hunt after every single point and can skip the ones you can not reach easily or don't like the place they are in etc.
