Solomon.8501
So basically I've rushed through the artificer levelling with a guide i found on the net. It was pretty cheap in costs, but the guide only went to 400. Any tips to level to 500? I can't seem to understand some guides on the Internet. daynay.1089
I seen some guides on you tube, have you looked there? I can tell you it will be painful. It took me 100 gold to get my huntsman to 500. I had to craft a lot of exotics, it was around 13 to get from 425 to 500. Now there may be an easier way to do this, but I didn't find anything any cheaper.

I was following a guide that said exactly what you needed to refine and discover, but it was only up to
RoseofGilead.8907
I use gw2crafts.net for crafting guides. They have 1-400 and 400-500 for each applicable crafting discipline. It gives you a guide of what to make, as well as a shopping list so you can get/use exactly what you need to use.
daynay.1089
It is basically the same you will need to craft exotic insignia and make 3 different weapons with different insignia and then keep going until you reach 500. http://www.tentonhammer.com/guides/guild-wars-2-artificer-leveling-guide-400-
daynay.1089
That website is a couple of years old, but it is the same principal in leveling up crafting.
LadySilverHand.6841
gw2crafts.net gets updated and maintained regularly, and is a go-to for most veteran players. Part of what makes it so great is that it will give you actual current market prices for your shopping list at the time you query.

The guide may not account for boosters (because it's difficult to do so), but it gives you a great summary, shopping list, and crafting guide for leveling any discipline. Tanner Blackfeather.6509
If you're not in hurry but just want a direction - I'd do as much of 450-475 as you have patience for by crafting ascended materials (Deldrimor Steel, Spirit Wood etc) - either to sell or store for ascended/legendary crafting. Chadramar.8156
400-500 is never not painful, though at least you don't need leather. Use a crafting booster if you still have one left, use the guild tavern crafting boost, and discover as many recipes as possible, even if the resulting item is "worthless" to you. You can always salvage it, and discoveries give so much more experience than making the same thing over and over.
chibi.2537
Crafting booster ad discovering new recipes is the keyto any crafting. Find recipes online (I do it on the wiki). Check if you have enough materials (you'll get some back from salvaging) and if you have activate the booster and start discovering/crafting. Drarnor Kunoram.5180
Also, do your crafting on Friday after World Vs. World bonuses have built up about as far as they can. One of the benefits is increased chance for bonus crafting XP.

It was removed at the same time the WvW Skirmish Rewards were added in June.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Game_updates/2017-06-
Kaltyn of Torbins Deep.294
I fourth (or fifth) gw2crafts.net. While leveling crafting on my alt account, I discovered that the author added a feature that allows you to plug in your API key for the site to adjust your shopping list based on the materials you already have.
