Cwnannwn.7681
There's a couple of stat sets that haven't been selectable from core Tyria ascended gear at all since the end of LS1 and that basically require LS3 to have ascended gear with those at all, which is incredibly annoying, and I feel like it would be about time to put them on the list for selectable core items.Specifically, those would be: Assassin, Dire, Valkyrie, Magi, Shaman (all of which were core, launch stats that have a few named dungeon collection earrings and then nothing), and possibly Zealot, Nomad, Settler, Sentinel (all of which had nothing until LS3), debataly Sinister (admittedly it has purchasable pieces in the wastes), which despite being effectively Core/LS1/2 stats effectively get shafted for ascended gear unless you have LS3 (I remember being extremely frustrated that the vial of salt was "fixed" to remove these stat prefixes for one, especially since at that time it was literally the only ascended neck that could take assassin stats). starlinvf.1358
So it raises the question.... what stat selectable "item" are you talking about? And when was it added? Because stat selection wasn't meant to be a feature until closer to LS2, and was largely done due to problems revealed by Ascended crafting and missing Mystic Forge recipes. I'd rather they instead restructure the entire acquisition system to fix up ALL the loose ends, rather then create yet another Bespoke solution that breaks down in yet another fringe case that isn't so fringe. Cwnannwn.7681
Stat selection became a thing when they scrapped magic find as an attribute bonus afaik which was, also afaik, a few months or weeks before I signed up. That said, true, a way to make everything obtainable altogether would be appreciated but, in this case, this is more about the uneven way they've been handling the Core/Maguuma/Elona stat segregation.
