X T D.6458
Noticed this last night, RI and Skirmish are showing inaccurate timers. The RI timer shown for an objective is not in sync with the RI on a lord/supervisor, there seems to be a 15 second difference.

The actual RI/Skirmish timers work off the servers; the time displayed on your screen uses your Operating System. Make sure that your is set to synchronize with a reliable local time site. For Windows:Start→Run→Control PanelClock, Language, and Region→Set the Time & Date→Internet Time (third tab)Change Settings. Select Synchronize with an Internet Time Server. I like time.nist.gov, but some prefer others.Update Now for good measureProfit?
X T D.6458
My computers time is set properly, and has nothing to do with it. Are you sure you understand the problem?

Are you sure you understand the problem?Other people have reported this issue in the past. It's always turned out to be a client-server time sync issue. If you're sure your computer time is accurately synching, then in your shoes, I'dUse in the in-game /bug reporting tool to document it while you are in WvW, observing the the particular objective. If time, send in a Support ticket. (Which can be done whenever.)
Jeknar.6184
My timers are still fine. The RI on lord is the same as shown on the minimap.
Blodeuyn.2751
Everyone in my guild has had out-of-sync timers since the last game patch on Monday.
Illconceived Was Na.9781
Ah, well that's something different from what happened in the past. Hopefully at least a few people reported it in-game.I apologize to the OP: I understood they were only talking about their own display, not everyone else's. Five minutes in GW2 is not five minutes. Don't know what they are using but it's not the NIST clock, which is what they should be using.
X T D.6458
Up to 30 seconds now consistently, and several people have mentioned having the same issue. Skirmish timer starts at 5:30, ri timer on lord still up even if it does not show ri on map.
Threepwood.6549
For me, the alpine maps are ~30 seconds off. EBG and desert borderlands timers are fine.
Manasa Devi.7958
Last night, timers were either correct, or off exactly one minute. Pretty annoying when it leads to arriving late for capping something when you thought you had a minute more to get there.
Optimator.3589
I haven't personally encountered the problem lately, but I've been hearing complaints from various commanders, so it's definitely not just a problem for the OP.
Manasa Devi.7958
I just noticed that when I check the "Protected from capture" timer on a camp from a different map and then travel to that map, the timer goes up exactly 1 minute.
