Leaderboards page not loading [Merged]

Hi,

I know it's a niche thing to care about having high AP, but I like to check it every now and then, just to get a perspective.

Now the page no longer loads. Instead, after a few seconds of trying to connect I am greeted to a blank page and an Error Message.

• Error 42 (0:9001:4457): Srv2Taco, transaction timeout {#3}, {P+/Taco/Request+STS/1.0}, {10.92.69.204:54657 0 0 0 0}

It has been like this for at least a month now. Is this on purpose? I mean, was it announced, that they would remove the page or is it actually bugged? Is it a problem on my side?

Works fine for me.  You might check your browser's settings.

At least a month?  No way, I was just using in on Friday.  Are you viewing it while logged in and is there some weird change you made on your account that is causing the filters to freak out?

When you attempt to login to view achievement or wvw leaders you are taken to a blank screen with no ability to LOGIN.

An update to clarify that it still doesn't work. 

I've cleared my cache in google chrome and it still does not work. I click on the "LOGIN" on the achievement page and it goes to a blank screen. No "loading" indication or anything.

Does your browser allow tracking?  That may be the issue.

Something else going on. I got the same error now when clicking Login on the leaderboards page. Turned off browser tracking protections and still bugged. If logged in via accounts.arena.net, it doesn't carry over to the leaderboards.

Still works fine for me.  Have you tried different browsers? 

The Devs won't 'fix' it, if they can't reproduce the 'bug'.

I'm using google chrome. I just tried Microsoft Edge and I click on "Login" on the Leaderboard page and all I get is is a blank screen. Same thing I get on chrome.

It seems like something transient with a proxy server.  I just tried it today and when I clicked on "Login", I got the login page correctly.

I still cannot login into the leader board. What is going on? I click on "Login" and all I get is a white screen. I've cleared the cache and used a different browser. There is something wrong on ANET's end.

Okay - in addition to this I tried a totally different computer in my house using Firefox. Still only get a blank page when I push the "Login" link on the Leadership Board page.

It's supposed to redirect you. In the past some browsers would block that redirect, causing a blank screen, but I checked just now and it's actually broken. They're using a javscript redirect, but they've put it in the wrong location, so it's failing to load:

It's not broken for everyone.  I have no problem logging in or viewing the Leaderboards. 

But, the little up/down arrows are missing on Achievements, but show up on WvW.

For the original topic? No. For the blank page? Sure - the CDN failed.

The login itself isn't a problem, it's the redirect. If you can confirm the file exists, you can confirm the CDN failed, which has been a reoccurring problem with the patch CDN. If you also get a 404 however, then you should also see a blank page when you try to login with a cleared cache/session.

Not sure what the problem is....open Leaderboard page, log in to see personal information, if desired; seems to work as always.  🤷‍♂️

Once I click on the Login link on the Leader Board and all I get is the blank page. The weird part is that original issue doesn't work even from a different computer using a different browser.  Your bypass links earlier worked so it has to be the forwarding issue.

I hope someone at ArenaNet is looking into this since it seems like low-hanging fruit to fix a bad redirect that is occurring intermittently.

It's very 50/50 on when it loads and when it doesn't. Also I can never log in on that page, I just get  a blank white page.

Nope. Still can't use the website's "login" link on the Leader Board. Always sends me to a blank page.

I don't understand half the things you wrote but thanks a lot for doing the devs/mods work and providing a workaround.

Give this person a free mount skin or somehting and fix whatever is broken with this leaderboard.

(Also pls fix AP in general. Repeatable Achis released with or post EoD keep adding, then substracting AP since launch probably. --> Thread)
