the other observation i have is that better players know to not be rezzed in certain situations; worse players tend to complain in map chat about not being instantly rezzed

The rant from a different perspective is my trying to Rez someone who is downed while I am eating damage and getting within 1 more pulse of getting that player on his feet, and the downed player ports away with a downed skill. now he is still downed and I got most of my health gone.

Theres still stomping plenty of it, you people don't actually pvp, or do so very casually. This is just aimed at the people who say there's no stomping.

I really get tired of all these people who don't pvp giving there opinion on a game mode the clearly no know nothing about....

Been watching UGO today, 2 of the teams in there were made of some of the absolute top of the ladder in both EU and US (Moon Boys and 203 Ping), there was basically no stomping going on.

I occasionally stomp as a Mesmer because distortions and / or mirage cloak can make it pretty safe but on like every other class I'll usually just cleave them down. Even on Mesmer I'll cleave them down most of the time. If two people are cleaving them down they'll die before anyone can stomp them, even with quickness.

I think the main reason is that stomps are well telegraphed and easy to interrupt. + condition is the new meta and if you stack enough conditions on a downed player he'll go down again even if he rallies.

still FB can somewhat have a good a chance at getting a stomp with insta cast aegis and stab together and f3 has reflect bubble and resistance pulsing to make the stomp somewhat not so much of a bad idea.Holosmith has stab, stealth, projectile hate and elixir S for it if availableMirage can just use a dodge bar, a blink, stealth or a distort

i dont think anything else can go for a safer stomp

regardless, the best option is to cleave the body safely and for the potential kill on a rezz-or

Elementalist Focus earth 5 or mistform could work.
