Unlimited use mad king finisher

I got one of unlimited use mad king finisher,

But when double clicking on it, the number of accumulated single use ones remained in the finishers tab.

 

Did I just lose the unlimited one, or will it take effect after the 1k odd I have of single uses reaches zero?

If I remember correctly, you should have 2 mad king finishers in that tab now. One for the permanent one, one for the temporary ones.

Other possibility is that yes, they display in the same icon, and using up all the temporary ones will eventually leave the permanent one. But hovering over it or clicking on it or some tooltip somewhere should tell you that you have the permanent one.
