Wrong working some an abilities. Incorrect ability description or bug.

Good afternoon all community.

 

Revenant trait Contained Temper in Invocation does not have a correct description or have bug. More precisely, this skill simply gives 25% critical chance. Parameters other than 25% critical chance do nothing else as shown in the screenshot otherwise.

Moreover, these effects do not work. The Life stealing and duration of conditions does not work.

 

Then I ran into an incorrect description of the Blood Fury trait.

I'm puzzled. What happens to these abilities? How are they actually supposed to work, and do they work at all?

 

Once the Battle Scarred were weakened (Life Siphon Healing). In pvp, this ability was not weakened. I don't quite understand what was the point of weakening this ability in pve?

Personally, I don't think this change makes much sense. And you need to return everything as it was. This only makes the game harder for the solo player.

Erm, Contained Temper doesn't give you additional 25% Crit chance, it simply gives you Fury when you CC somebody. Fury by itself is already 25% Crit chance. 

 

Those other effects tho, I've never seen them before.

Kalla's Fervor is a Renegade passive when you fulfil certain conditions like critically striking an enemy.
When you pick the trait Blood Fury it renames the passive into Blood Fury, which in addition to Kalla's Fervor bonus, gives you +25% Bleed Duration. 

The only odd thing is the tooltip in the 2nd image reading 3% when each stack of Kalla's Fervor only gives 2%. And yes, they do work. Life Stealing Damage btw, means Siphon damage, which Revenants have access to through Battle Scars from Devastation and Soulcleave's Summit.

Battle Scars was always significantly weaker in PvP. This is known something as "Skill Split" Certain skills are balanced certain ways based on which mode you are currently in. 

This is PvE Battle Scars, which was nerfed because Anet hates us:

 Damage 117 (0.006)?  Healing 117 (0.006)?

 

 

This is PvP Battle Scars, which was always poo poo bad:

The screenshot shows that trait Contained Temper, in addition to the critical chance, should give a lot more (see picture). There are many bonuses listed, but it only gives critical chance. How to deal with it?

Contained Temper doesn't give anything but Fury.

It doesn't give +25% crit.

It gives Fury.

Fury is what gives 25% crit.

 

The 10% damage bonus you're seeing on the Contained Temper tooltip is from the Ferocious Aggression trait in Invocation. This is not granted by Contained Temper, but by Fury which is itself granted by Contained Temper (hence why it's on the tooltip).

 

The 25% condition duration bonus you're seeing is from the Blood Fury trait, and actually indicates that Blood Fury is working correctly (assuming it only applies to bleeds).

 

Both of those effects apply while under the effects of any Fury boon, including the Fury from Contained Temper.

The Tooltip in the trait menu & tooltips from skills from fury includes all improvements trait make to fury, like +10% of all damage sorts or the +25% duration from Blood fury.

 

The Blood fury trait is correct aswell. Blood fury gives normal "Kallas Fervor", which gives 2%.

When using the Trait "Lasting Legacy" ,the Kallas Fervor stacks get improved, which gets shown in tooltips in the trait menu&tooltips from skills.

 

Its by standard not shown on the Fury/Fervor buff in the boon-line itself. Which is probably a bug.
