Warrior Build - Berserker/Zerker - Condi/Power Hybrid - Flamberge

Hello Peeps first time posting long time player. This is a build that I came up with for fun, it does relatively well in PVE, Fractals, and I have also had a fair amount of success in PVP even though I suck at PVP.

Build focuses on stacking as much fire as you can then switching to Great sword to chase down and spike your opponent. I went with Grieving stats for the majority of stats and the flame legion runes for the 7% extra damage on burning opponents.

I plan on trying the build with full celestial gear at some point and possibly switching the great sword for the hammer and trying out the aristocracy runes on it with the hammer. If anyone else would like to give a try with these build changes, totally go for it and post your findings.

always open to critiques and talking points on the build, I hope this build adds some more fun to warrior fans out there. Happy Gaming Peeps!

P.S. Picked the name Flamberge because it is a greatsword weapon irl and has the beginning of the word flame in it.

Despite negative toughness penalty being removed from the class, i feel like berserker is still severely squishy. For solo open world we need gear with either vitality or toughness.

I myself wanted to make a build similar to yours but the problem are weapons being clunky and outdated and traits not flowing well at all. This class is pledged by nuisances that break creativity and block build diversity.

As for your build, GuildJen has celestial variant in case you wish to check it out: https://guildjen.com/open-world-builds/

I played the berserker in many ways, and as far as conditions the King of Fires nerf and changes make it feel worse, even with recent changes, either you end up being a condition tank or hopefully you notice the change adding precision, with celestial you avoid that headache, but you end up in the same way with a condition tank.

The hybrid builds of the berserker mean that you are made of paper to do less damage of power and conditions that in the end increase the time to kill a lot, gaining practically nothing and being weaker in some confrontations.

The berserker's power builds explode and you explode them well.

Berserker builds can be adjusted and optimized, but in the end they are similar to full Marauder, or with toughness and Celestial for condition or more condi-tank Trailblazer, in pve at the end they will ask you for meta-build anyway, so, well...
