Skyscale Scales collection bugged, can't progress to get the mount

While collecting Skyscale scales for the collection of the same name, I picked up scale #10 but, now, it does not show in the collection. The game did not glitch or lag and the icon appeared on the main screen indicating that I had collected the scale (X of X scales collected). When I went to the collection screen to check the next location, the scale was not there. Scale #10 is no longer in the location and it is not in the collection. Without this scale, I can't complete the collection and get the mount. I have submitted a bug report, but they don't answer those, so I am looking for options to resolve this issue. Any Ideas?

Hey, I know it has been some time, but haven't you accidentally picked 16 and thought it was 10, I just did and found this post, figuring it out, so if anybody else finds this,..  you might be just stupid like me.
