Ballistic.2570
For anyone wondering what the fps situation is in WvW large scale fights on the AMD AM5 platform here are some clips. The fps monitor is on the bottom of the screen. This footage is at 1440p. Fps typically drops to high 40s to low 50s when the action gets going. There's 4 fights with one wipe, got the settings I use at the end of the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MuTQ3sGgjA&ab_channel=JohnDoe CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x overclocked to 5500 Mhz Ram: 32GB Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5 6000MT/S CL32 DIMM Motherboard: Asrock Steel Legend X670E GPU: Radeon RX 7900 XT 1
Dawdler.8521
You should have bought an Arc 770 instead, according to Intel it roflstomps an RTX4090 at 200+ fps in GW2. For normal people that doesnt have such magical hardware, GW2 remain completely engine limited even on 5 year old hardware. I bet that even in 5 more years when you run a 8ghz 9950X3D/RTX6090 you get... 40-50 fps in zerging.
CrimsonRise.7650
Also this game without Gsync or freesync feels like a stuttery mess, from all the frame drops, but obviously Single Core/threaded performance makes a huge difference.. Nightten.8470
Any updates on this? Do you still have the same frame rates? I practically have the same PC and i have this problem too. GPU and CPU are not at 100% utilization. When i go look at a wall or small indoor space without players the FPS does go up to 177ish sometimes more. Other games seem to run fine.
