there are still minipets in wvw

According to the patch notes of January 31 it is no longer possible to summon minipets in WvW.

But i still see players with minipets in WvW and i was able to summon mine.

I assume this is a bug?

Yes you can still summon them in Green and Blue Borderlands. Red and Eb are disabled.

They were removed for a reason (so to make them re-selectable is not really an option):

Patch notes: Miniatures can no longer be summoned in WvW. This change is aimed at reducing screen clutter in large-scale combat and to remove a bad interaction with stealth that disproportionately affected players new to the game mode.
