Condi mech double standards vs power mech

Sure, scrapper and holosmith are intuitively more power-oriented, but core engineer still brings a lot of condition damage options to the table. And there's the possibility of more specs in the future. Maybe even that chemical engineer you've been advocating for.

I agree.  That said, I don't think this situation is going to cause problems.  I find it pretty unlikely that a 33% burn duration and burn on crit will be up for buffs in the future.  And, if it becomes too powerful on Mech, nerfing it instead of just removing it from the inheritance would be kinda silly.  We did need that 33% burning on the mech coming from somewhere though, or the inheritance change nerf would be even bigger.
